| Frontier airlines announced it will be start flying into Liberia on February 13, 2011, with weekly nonstop flights to/from its hub at Denver International Airport (DEN). "The addition of Liberia is a great compliment to our successful service to San José and now provides our guests with greater flexibility to enjoy all the natural beauty and relaxation Costa Rica has to offer," said Daniel Shurz, vice president of strategy and planning. "And we are excited to offer nonstop service to eight international destinations from Denver this winter." Frontier continues to be the only carrier to provide nonstop service between Denver and San José, Costa Rica, where it first launched service in November 2007, and Frontier is now the only carrier to provide nonstop service between Denver and Liberia. Flights beginning on February 13 will leave Denver at 8:35am and arrive at the Daniel Oduber International airport in Guanacaste at 2:35pm and turning around at 3:25pm and arriving back in Denver at 8:10pm.
